Library services include:

  • My Library is your personalised home page. You can access your Learning Resources (reading lists and past exam papers), Subject guides to support your studies and online tutorials. You can also manage your loans and holds.
  • LIBRARY 101 - an online course in Learn.UQ (Blackboard) to guide you through all the things you should know about locating, using your Library and researching for your assignments. You can work through this course at any time.
  • Free training in research techniques, referencing software and MS Office
  • Online training through Lynda.com  - an extensive collection of online training videos and tutorials focusing on software and skills in IT, design and business. Course topics include office applications, 3D animation, audio engineering, CAD, software development, photography, video editing, and web design.
  • I.T. help for UQ students, including sessions on Learn.UQ (Blackboard) and Computing @ UQ
  • Access and install free referencing software
  • Expert advice through “AskUs” online chat or email, telephone and in person
