Welcome and Advice Session - An essential academic advice seminar for new students in the BE(Hons) and BE(Hons) dual programs, followed by the opportunity to speak with academics from the Schools of Chemical, Civil, Electrical & Information Technology, Mechanical and Mining Engineering.

Academic and Timetabling Advice – Speak with academics to get academic advice and help with your timetable

EUS BBQ - The barbeque provides a chance to meet fellow students, engineering student societies, first year tutors, mentors and teaching staff in an informal environment. Please email Yr1Eng@uq.edu.au by 4:00pm on Friday 9th February if you have any specific dietary requirements (e.g. Vegan, Gluten Free, Halal).

Parents and Partners Information Session - The Associate Dean (Academic) provides tips and advice for supporting your first year BE(Hons) or BE(Hons) dual degree student through their first year in engineering.

Project Day - Welcome by the Executive Dean, Heads of Schools and Course Coordinators who will present introductory information on the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program and ENGG1100 (Engineering Design). The session will be followed by group activities and a Q&A session with engineering graduates and current BE(Hons) students.

All first year BE(Hons) and BE(Hons) dual degree students MUST attend this day.
