It takes us 24 hours to create your student ID after you've enrolled in mySI-net. Once you've waited 24 hours, you can choose how to get your ID card.

You have two options for your new student ID; 

If you decide to upload your own photo, make sure you wait for it to be approved before you make the trip to campus.

We recommend picking up your ID well before the start of semester (lines can be long, especially during Orientation).

What to bring

To collect your student ID, all new students, domestic or international, need to show:

  • Proof of identification (a passport or an Australian drivers licence), and
  • Letter of offer (this was emailed to you).

The name on your letter of offer has to match the name on your proof of identification.

External students

If you’re an external student and you can’t attend a campus to collect your ID, you will need to:
