    • 1. Make sure you attend a Getting Started session
      If you missed an early Getting Started session, make sure you attend one during the week.
    • 2. Attend your program sessions
      Choose your campus and Faculty on the right hand side of this page.
    • 3. IT and eLearning sessions
      Essential sessions to familiarise you with the learning systems you'll use every day, setup wifi and your student+ email account.  
    • 4. Academic and personal skills sessions
      Start the semester confidently by attending workshops covering essay writing, referencing correctly and time management.
    • 5. UQ Library sessions
      Tours and talks to introduce you to our services, training and facilities.
    • 6. Information Points
      The Welcome and Information Hub is your first point of call for enquires to get you started at UQ. Located in a large marquee in the Great Court, The Hub is open from 8am – 5pm during O Week and 9am – 4pm during Week 1. Look out for the Welcome Crew who will be out and about ready to assist you the moment you step on campus.
      We are here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have and to provide information on programs, campus resources, and services. Drop in to the Student Centre for help.
